FEATURED CASE STUDY

Annie Aesthetic

Annie Aesthetic is a multi-brand medspa rollup operating 12 practices across 18 locations. As the business grew through acquisition, every brand arrived with its own Zenoti instance, its own way of reporting, and its own definition of a healthy provider. Annie Aesthetic brought in CorralData to unify the portfolio and measure every brand against the same definitions.

CHALLENGE

A Multi-Brand Portfolio Without a Shared Measurement Framework

Annie Aesthetic grew through acquisitions, and each acquisition came with the same challenge: every brand arrived with its own Zenoti instance, its own way of counting revenue, and its own definition of what a healthy provider looked like. Antiage Institute counted revenue one way; Deluxe counted it another. The injectable-led brands measured success in average ticket value per injector; Functional Health measured it in memberships sold. Body and Beauty Lab had two separate Zenoti instances that didn’t talk to each other. Device utilization was tracked in Medvelle at some brands and folded into Zenoti notes at others. Financial performance lived in NetSuite, separated from clinical activity entirely.

While each brand could measure its own performance, leadership could not see the entire portfolio as one business. The questions keeping them up at night were:

  • Which brands were on track against budget, and which were drifting?
  • Which providers across all 12 brands were running near capacity, and which had room to fill?
  • How did rebooking and retention compare across brands, and where was patient lifetime value pulling ahead or falling behind?
  • How were injectors and device-led providers performing on their own terms, and where were cross-sell gaps sitting?
  • How would the next acquisition plug into the operating model without forcing a reporting rebuild from scratch?

Leadership needed a platform that could unify the data, measure every brand against the same definitions, and surface what was working, and drifting, across the portfolio in real time.

SOLUTION

From 12 Brands to One AI-Powered Operating Layer

CorralData unified Annie Aesthetic’s multi-brand portfolio into a single, HIPAA-compliant data and intelligence platform. Every Zenoti instance across the portfolio, plus Medvelle device data and NetSuite financial data, now flows into one governed warehouse spanning 18 locations, with AI continuously reading, analyzing, and surfacing opportunities across the portfolio.

One Framework Across Every Brand, Provider, and Location

For the first time, group leadership could see the entire portfolio in one place. A shared rollup view brings all 12 brands side by side against budget, utilization, and rebooking, so retention drift surfaces at each stage of the patient journey, not just at year-end. Individual brand teams also got their own accounts with joined data from every system, so practice managers could run their location directly without waiting on group-level reporting.

The framework had to fit how Annie actually operates. Average Ticket Value is tracked separately for Injectors, Functional Health Providers, and Estheticians — so a Body and Beauty Lab injector benchmarks against the Antiage Institute bench, not against her own store’s esthetician. Medvelle device data flows into the same environment, so biostimulator, neurotoxin, and device-based treatment volume reads next to provider-level revenue. A weekly leadership cadence ties it all together, with every brand reviewed against the same metrics on the same week.

An AI Layer That Built Tools, Answered Questions, and Drove Action

Any time a new workflow question came up, Annie’s team turned to CorralData’s AI agent, AskCorral. They’d describe what they needed, and the tool would go live on their board as a Data App the same day. Annie’s Data Apps include:

  • Executive Summary: 12-brand rollup on a shared scale (budget, utilization, rebooking)
  • Injector Benchmark: every injector compared across brands on volume, ticket value, retention, and product mix
  • Cross-Sell Gap: providers with high volume in one modality (e.g., neurotoxin) and low attach on complementary modalities (e.g., biostimulators)
  • New-Patient-to-Goal: acquisition tracked against target by brand, so drifts surface before quarter-end

Beyond building custom tools, AskCorral also answers questions on demand. When the Chief Implementation Officer asked “what was sales accrual revenue in June 2025?”, AskCorral returned a governed answer in seconds, with the supporting view built on the spot. CorralData MCP extends that access into the tools Annie’s leaders already work in. A group leader can pull a live brand-vs-brand comparison directly into their working document, or a finance lead can pull cross-brand collections alongside operational metrics without switching apps.

And when AI surfaces a signal in Annie’s data, reverse ETL delivers it into the systems each brand’s team uses every day. A cross-sell gap flagged at the injector level shows up on the provider’s schedule. A same-day rebooking opportunity surfaces at the front desk before the patient checks out. A retention drift at a specific brand triggers an alert to the practice manager, and a budget-vs-actual gap surfaces for the operator who owns the number.

RESULTS

Running 12 Brands as One Operating Business

Annie Aesthetic now operates as a unified portfolio instead of a collection of brands that each measure themselves differently. Across 18 locations and 12 practice instances, the team has driven 14% year-over-year revenue growth, with tens of thousands of patients served across the group.

That growth came from specific operating shifts the platform made visible — stronger same-day rebooking, higher cross-sell rates at the provider level, broader patient uptake of device-based treatments, and improved provider utilization at brands where the platform surfaced unused capacity in time to fill it.

And as Annie Aesthetic continues to grow through acquisition, every new brand plugs into the same shared KPI dictionary, the same cross-brand Executive Summary, and the same AI-powered insights and actions that their existing brands run on. New locations onboarded over the past year drove the bulk of the group’s year-over-year revenue growth — proof that the platform absorbs new brands the way it was built to.

These are the results of unified data, roll-up reporting, and AI-powered intelligence: the entire organization can make smarter decisions, faster.
