Featured case study
Aviva Aesthetics operates aesthetics and regenerative medicine practices across the U.S. through an entrepreneur-owned model that allows each practice to retain its leadership after joining. Those businesses may arrive with different systems, reporting practices, and operating histories. CorralData built the operating layer that brings Aviva corporate and its onboarded brands into one governed model, onboarding each new acquisition regardless of its EMR or underlying systems and giving leadership a consolidated view that scales as the portfolio grows.

Challenge
Aviva's acquisition model means every new brand shows up differently. One practice might run an aesthetics-led service mix on one EMR and point-of-sale system; another might operate a medical-provider model on a different EMR, with its own revenue-per-visit economics.
At the corporate level, Aviva needed to compare performance across its portfolio without blending distinct businesses into an average that could flatter one and conceal problems in another. Every acquisition could introduce another system, chart of accounts, and set of metric definitions to reconcile.
The onboarded brands had a different need. Their local leaders needed reporting that reflected their own providers, services, and financial models, not a generic package designed around the portfolio average.
Aviva needed one platform capable of meeting both needs: consolidating performance for corporate leadership, preserving the context behind each individual business, and bringing new acquisitions into view without rebuilding the reporting foundation each time.
Solution
CorralData connects the systems used across Aviva corporate and its onboarded brands, including EMRs, point-of-sale platforms, accounting systems, inventory tools, and marketing platforms, into one HIPAA-compliant data warehouse, bringing each new acquisition into that same governed model regardless of its underlying stack.
The onboarding work began with weekly sessions to determine how Aviva's most important corporate and operating metrics should be calculated. Those definitions were then applied to data from Zenoti, Sage Intacct, Medvelle, and other source systems.
The foundation continued evolving while Aviva was migrating its accounting system to Sage Intacct. Rather than waiting for that migration to finish, CorralData built the reporting and reconciliation logic alongside it.
CorralData worked with Aviva to establish shared definitions for its core metrics rather than recalculating them differently for every brand or report. Those definitions now live in a shared Data Dictionary and 17 verified, gold-tier datasets. They provide the consistent source Aviva corporate needs for consolidated reporting while preserving each onboarded brand's underlying locations, provider types, and operating model.
When another business joins, its source data can be mapped to Aviva's established definitions instead of introducing a new version of every metric.
The Executive Summary Data App gives Aviva leadership a consolidated view of the businesses currently running on CorralData.
Within the onboarded brands, purpose-built tools reflect how each business actually operates. Examples include the Clinic Director/Owner Daily Data App, which gives local leaders a daily view of practice performance, and Revenue per Provider, which keeps distinct provider categories and operating models visible rather than blending them into a portfolio-wide average.
Practice-level staff can also use AskCorral, CorralData's AI agent, to query the same governed data directly rather than waiting for someone to build or pull another report.
Connecting clinical activity to financial reporting required reconciling accrual revenue, cash revenue, collections, and liabilities against Aviva's chart of accounts while its Sage Intacct migration is still underway.
At the corporate level, the Accounting Summary and GL Revenue Data Apps carry that reconciliation forward. The Monthly Owner Revenue Report and Owner Revenue Export give location owners access to the underlying detail without requiring finance to assemble it manually each month.
CorralData also connects Medvelle inventory, purchasing, and product-usage data through an eight-app suite at the corporate level, feeding Treatment COGS so leadership can see product costs alongside the revenue they helped generate rather than reconciling them later in a separate spreadsheet.
Results
Aviva corporate and the onboarded brands running on CorralData now operate from the same governed data model. Leadership can monitor consolidated performance throughout the month, while local teams can manage the metrics relevant to their own businesses.
Across the onboarded brands represented in CorralData, accrual revenue, cash revenue, collections, and new membership sign-ups all grew over the trailing 12 months.
Appointment prebooking provides one operational example. Within an onboarded brand, the percentage of completed visits with a future appointment already scheduled increased by more than 40%. CorralData makes that metric visible by location, allowing teams to identify gaps and manage prebooking more consistently.
Those results demonstrate the value already being delivered across Aviva's onboarded businesses. That is the model: an operating layer that becomes more valuable, not more complicated, with every acquisition Aviva makes.
CorralData connects EMR and POS systems, CRM and lead-tracking tools, ad platforms, accounting systems, payroll and HR systems, and inventory platforms, more than 600 data sources in total. Everything flows into one HIPAA-compliant data warehouse that refreshes automatically.
CorralData connects a new acquisition's own EMR, point-of-sale, and all other systems into the same governed data model rather than requiring it to switch platforms first. Its data is mapped to the organization's established metric definitions, so it can be brought into consolidated reporting without rebuilding the reporting foundation from scratch.
There is no fixed list. If the data exists in a location's EMR, POS, accounting, or inventory system, CorralData can track it, trend it, and help a team optimize for it. Common examples include revenue per visit or provider, utilization rate, prebooking or rebooking rate, new memberships, net collections, and cost of goods sold. Any metric tied to a connected data source can be added.
AskCorral is CorralData's AI agent. Teams can ask business questions in plain English and AskCorral answers and provides recommendations based on their connected data. For example, someone might ask which locations are falling behind on appointment prebooking this month, and AskCorral can flag where outreach would help most. Conversations with AskCorral reveal where a team needs to intervene, opportunities to capture, and actions to take. Beyond answering questions, AskCorral can build and modify dashboards and widgets, so teams never have to wait for someone to build new reports.
CorralData doesn't wait for a migration to finish before reconciling the numbers. It builds that logic alongside the migration, reconciling accrual revenue, cash revenue, collections, and liabilities against the chart of accounts as it stands today. Dedicated Data Apps carry that reconciliation forward, so finance has a consistent view throughout the transition, not just after it completes.
CorralData works with each customer to establish shared definitions for its core metrics, instead of recalculating them differently for every location or report. Those definitions live in a governed Data Dictionary backed by verified datasets, so a number reviewed locally matches what's reviewed at the corporate level. When a new business joins, its data maps to those existing definitions rather than introducing a new version of every metric.
